Ah, the days when the fandom was so new and fresh that any random idea - literally anything - could become a fandom meme. So nostalgic.
If I remember right… there was someone that commissioned a whole bunch of art of Trixie eating pinecones to try and make it a ‘thing’… and it worked… somewhat.

Basically the same way Rarity fighting a giant crab became a thing.
Someone decided it should be a thing, and paid various artists to draw it until it slipped into community consciousness.
