Well… it is in the same timeline as most of the rest. So they might do a sideseries of comics for it, like the knuckles the echidna/sonic universe comics. But they might want to do megamanX first to do it chronologically.
Also, protoman is getting a small origin story arc to himself.

Still… it would be cool if they did a comic about Legends Megaman. Because they would sell like hotcakes and because that setting is really awesome.
They’ve started one recently and yes, they’re only doing the original games. But they are adding new stuff to the story, like a new female love interest for dr.light. It’s between 2 and 3 atm I think, but dr.cossack has already made an appearance already, along with his daughter and pharoahman.
Also, they’re planning this:
