Because that is not balanced
It would have to pull an even amount of mana to work, and thusly need to be reworded to do so, but it is one possible way to get it closer to the curve.
But that breaks the rules of not using integer values.
More than double, really. Maybe if it dealt half the damage per mana spent it would be better, since then it would be an 8 mana Flamestrike or a 10 mana Flamestrike+1. It’s still better than most AOE even then though.
Umm I wasn’t talking about subjective preferences.
I was talking about simple basic rules like 1 damage is worth 2 heal, 2 mana is worth 1 card etc.
and not making cards that are 2x of the usual standard.
They already have. They’re the ones that made priest and huntards annoying as fuck.
Blizzard should hire them.
