Now I’m imagining Sonata howling as an adorable werewolf.
And have her lure people into your backyard? That sounds troublesome.
Only problem was that it was usaully a thankless task and that pony magic and technological advancement made sinkings and strandings rare and thus the sirens were not getting what they believed to their due for their efforts.
And so they turned to magic of their own to get the adoration and recognition they craved…
At least I think that origin fits the mlp universe better then them originally being flesh hungry monsters.
