i’m not even joking, it can. if you put two dollops of paint next to each other with a tiny gap between them. then drag your brush between them(edge of brush in each color), you can load a brush with two colors. when the two dollops of paint are touching is when you’re properly loaded. it’s how some artists do a fully rendered tree trunks in a single stroke. if you do another stroke over wet paint, you fuck up the canvas and the brush load at the same time. very cool way to do long and thin gradients in a handful of seconds. it’s rewarding to do, but terribly punishing to even the slightest amount of self doubt.
