Oh damn, it reminds me of a PSA I saw as a kid. It warned about the dangers of being outside during lightning strikes, and to reinforce this point, it showed an orange cartoon cat walking in a field during a storm. Every time lightning struck it, the screen flashed white and then there’d be a close-up of the cat’s face, with numbers in its eyes counting down the number of lives it had left. Effective at getting its message across, but scary as fuck.
 
Now that I think about it, does TV even show PSAs anymore?
