If this is a prank, I wonder what this pony in the house was doing?

Pranking. Notice how when she looks inside there are cookie boxes and cookies strewn everywhere. And her window seems to be the only one left open.

It was obvious it was done as “window dressing” (no pun intended.) If Dash looked inside she’d see the boxes everywhere, and potentially get a glimpse of the pony walking around slowly.
