Whichever con set their dates first is the one that isn’t run by douchebags. Seriously, timing your convention so it’s not on the same weekend as others in the region that might split likely attendees is some dirt basic con organizing $#!+, someone is being a massive toolbox here.

Ah, I hate it when that happens. Out of 365 days in a year, you wouldn’t think highlights would happen on the same date. Happened to me last month, I had three things to look forward to and they all landed on the same bloody date.
