For quite some time after Gangnam Style came out, he (or more likely his scummy recording company’s lawyers) was suing and/or issuing “takedown notices” to everything and everyone who even remotely made a parody, cover, etc. of the song OR video. It was as silly and stupid as it sounds.
 
The only explanation I’ve read that makes any sense is that, in their part of the world, “Fair Use” is a completely foreign concept. It explains Nintendo’s hostile, draconian attitude toward their customers, as well.
