I mean, they might as well have been.. and, if they had the same mindset of Thorax from the beginning, they’d all have their own hives by then and everything, in my opinion. Like.. they were better off by not being under Chrysalis’ rule. But, who knows, there could be a lot more changelings in other areas or summat, so it’s hard to say, since the changelings’ history is still up in the clouds. I’m hoping Chrysalis has a back story in season 8, and we need more Gilda ffs

If Queen Chrysalis is the mother of all changelings… does that mean that all changelings in the show are princes and princesses, and should be addressed as such?

How? There is nothing that says Chrysalis is or is not the mother so how does that make my statement wrong? I’m genuinely curious how you think that is incorrect.

I don’t know where I expressed adamance, I only continued the conversation because vevans0009 got defensive and used an ad hominem attack rather than a proper counterargument. And besides, all I said is that vevans0009 was saying something that s/he had no evidence of. I have no beliefs on the subject myself, and I acknowledge that.

Says the person who doesn’t even bother to counter my points and merely insults me as a means of dismissing me. At least I actually bring up evidence and try to make valid, logical arguments. By the way, claiming that Queen Chrysalis is the mother of all changelings, or even that she is a mother at all, despite no real evidence from within the show whatsoever, IS headcanon by definition. Until you find me a clip FROM THE SHOW where it is stated that she is their mother, all you’re doing is saying “I’m right and you’re wrong” without actually putting in the effort to explain WHY you’re right and I’m wrong.

This gives me a “In the Dark of the Night - Anastasia” vibe

True, but it is always an effort for one to try to differentiate what has been directly stated and what has been implicated. It’s especially trying when there’s vestigial information that has been corroborated by the staff such as Cadance’s childhood and the alicorn country from Berrow 1 and Journal of the Two Sisters respectively. :T

She was only in 3 episodes, and again, it was NEVER STATED ANYWHERE that she was their mother. Your head canon does not count. Unless it’s stated in the show or by the staff, it does not count.
