I think Nick waa the based one here.
!
This is true. I concede.
@Mason Mouse
Are concepts like basic humanity and common sense really that rare these days?
Have you seen the choice of who the next America President is going to be?
Hate to continue going off topic, but…
Regardless, complaining about things like “green eyes,” (fans never complained about that before Sonic 4:Ep1 was first teased.) which don’t effect gameplay, or how the palm trees look is ridiculous. You apparently haven’t had as much experience with the Sonic fanbase to see the odd things they complain about that have nothing to do with the game’s quality…
Complaining about the spindash being added to Sonic 1 (especially when the game has an option to turn it off to play more like the original) is just looking for things to complain about. Ironically, I knew people who disliked the first Sonic, because it didn’t have the spindash yet. (Which does help when going uphill, or something. So arguably it actually enhances gameplay. Nobody complains about the NewSMB games adapting Mario’s wall-jump move, and such.)
PS: I’m a Sonic fan myself, not bashing them, nor do I feel all of them are like this. (In fact, the fanbase hasn’t had as much drama recently.) I understand the series has had it’s ups & downs, but a few fans obsess on the original game/s too much.

Knowledge and wisdom are indistinct concepts. His persona reeks of someone trying to sound more authoritative and experienced than they ever will be.
Well let’s say he has nothing better to do?
Maybe he is jobless because he criticize his employer too much?
It’s Murrsion, everything is possible.
We get bruises from facepalming too hard?
@Lucky Shot
Actually, I think Murrison has knowledge. What he lacks is wisdom. (Also restraint, empathy, the ability to admit when he’s wrong…)
@LeoNero
He did like “On Your Marks”, IIRC, as well as 3-4 episodes last year. But I think he’s reached the point where he’s going to find reasons to hate whatever comes out of DHX now.
How do we lose?
You can make arguments for SA 1/2, Generations, Heroes and Colors. They were all solid games, though if you enjoyed them or not is up to you. When I speak of travesties, I speak about games like ‘06 and Boom which launched with mountains of glitches and bugs that made the games nearly unplayable.
The Sonic fandom isn’t really being unreasonable to be suspicious of new entries into the franchise.

Depends on who you ask, as personally I actually enjoyed some of the post-Sonic 3 games like the SA games, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Generations, and even the controversial Shadow game. What you say is just opinion, not “absolute fact.”
Just like how some Pony fans think only Season 1 is worth a damn, yet personally, I prefered the following seasons. It’s just opinion.
I mean, considering the quality of most recent Sonic games, it is kind of hard to blame them. They aren’t an “Acquired Taste” they are “Bug Filled Pieces of Garbage”.
-Lumino
That is rather refreshing to hear.
Then he wouldn’t have anything to obsess over.
@LeoNero
Maybe the same reason retro-Sonic purists continue to complain about every new Sonic game/show/comic/ect. that comes out.
(For God’s sakes I saw one complain about them adding the spindash to the 3DS version of Sonic 1… Which can be toggled “off,” BTW making it pointless to complain about.)
To be fair, Murrison surprisingly liked last season’s “Crusaders of the Lost Mark.”
Nah. Some guy named blakfayt.
Chatoyance right?
