oh come on chysalis, it’s not that bad..

You’d think an alicorn who can learn spells on sight would have figured out a better way to disguise herself.  
Instead she uses poor craftsmanship skills…

To be fair, Chrysalis intruded on Canterlot. This is half scientific curiosity, half revenge for Chryssy almost ruining Shining Armor’s wedding.

And then Twilight makes the fatal mistake of accidentally trodding on one of the grub’s tails.
 
She hears a collection of tiny squeals and looks down at the weeping grub she’d injured. Her blood runs cold. Dropping he clipboard, she holds up her hooves in some pitiful attempt to pacify the child, smiling ear-to-ear as she panicked.
 
“I-I-It’sokayyou’reokayyou’reokay!”
 
The grub’s eyes well up with tears before it lets out an eardrum shattering shriek that rolls up and down the walls of the nursery hive. Twilight has to squeeze her eyes shut and plug her ears it’s such a horrid sound.
 
When she opens her eyes and unplugs her ears again, all she can hear is the deafening sound of droning wings and vicious hissing. She looks around to see the glowing arctic eyes of dozens of furious changeling parents piercing her.
 
“Um… oopsies?”

I think they are all hers in the sense that they are her loyal subjects, as for the question of if she laid all of their eggs, seems rude to ask D:

“So fascinating! Hey, Chrysalis! How long does the oviposition process take? Do you get impregnated or do the eggs grow inside you somehow? Are you even the one who laid them? How long does it take for a larva to reach metamorphosis?”

Twilight is always the cutest.

Twi looks adorable in that costume, even if it was hastily put together. <3
 
Chryssy doesn’t seem too impressed though. :P
