seriously, in today’s world everyone gets mad at anything, even with a fictional character who represents someone
I honestly don’t think they expected adult fans to hate him. Why would they want to turn off their fans? If they wanted to do that, they would never have done episode 100 the way they did. I think they went out of their way to make him a recognizable type, while also making him funny and clever.

Yeah, there HAVE been a lot of times when they’ve been savvy about this stuff in recent times.

the diference is that quibble had a script worth it, while flash… yeah. and i don’t care if people ship him with rainbow. besides, i like both quibbledash and soarindash

It’s been 6 seasons, I think the fandom has become self-aware by now. So I think viewers would laugh at him for being a nerd, or laugh at him because they can relate to him on some level.
If there’s any hate for him, I think it’s because of getting shipped with Dash. Though I don’t think the hate for Quib has been close to the level of hate for Flash.
But I agree, we’ll never see him again.
