You’d have to give her some leeway there though. To her, doing stuff like that is as ‘creepy and disturbing’ as you stepping over a log with your big long legs. It could also be handy too, should you ever lock yourself outside the house or need someone to grab something that fell beneath the couch.

You’re likely to get at least somewhat engulfed no matter how gentle a hug you give her:  
 
It’s a universal constant of all goo ponies that they love hugs and physical contact. Not only are they attracted to sources of warmth, but it’s also how their species showed affection before they evolved their pony-like traits so it’s in them at an instinctive level.
 
And before you ask, she’s well aware of your need to breathe :D

Viscosity refers to how slowly a liquid flows (due to internal friction), whereas consistency refers to how evenly a liquid’s components are mixed.
 
To say that she loses consistency is like saying that she separates herself into matter of this type and matter of that type and so forth.
