I think they’re really positioning these as things you buy online from what I’ve seen. But having boys on the box is still a big step IMO.

That actually looks good. Who are you and what have you done with Hasbro?

Hasbro makes an MLP toyline for both boys and girls

Clearly I had chosen the wrong place to search (Google, Amazon, and everywhere but Target apparently). While not stocked in any of the regional Targets near me (also goes for the other GoH toys) the price buffers it over the “free shipping” price at least.

You’re one of the lucky ones that managed to get RD.

According to my Amazon Order, Shinning Armor and The Shadow Bolt are preparing to Ship, RD has not shipped yet, and the rest of my order is delayed till October, so the Sept. 1st release date is kinda up in the air until they ship.

The original release of all of wave 1 save for Big Spike was September 1. September 1st only had three releases officially: Shining Armor, Shadowbolt, and Rainbow Dash. The rest were supposed to come September 30 but stores in the UK just put it all out at once and Soarin’ and Spitfire are also available in various places.

To anyone curious, the source is from August 14th and that release date was September 1st, or at least in Canada (as such the price tag is in CAD). The few references/sources/online retailers I can find otherwise say a September 30th release date and a $30-35 USD price tag.
 
Was there ever a list of release dates of all the toys in the line? I saw Celestia’s and Discord’s at the biggest GameStop in my city sometime in mid-August as well, but I guess those were already scheduled to come out before this Soarin/Spitfire one which I’m looking forward to most.
