Nothing. I’m just saying. Not trying to be an asshole
oh. so… what’s wrong with baby celestia getting a jug of nonalcoholic cider?
I know. I have the hot stuff every year during Halloween and thanksgiving
people in the united states have a certain appreciation for the ambrosial tang of early apples, so they bottle their juice and call it cider, without waiting for it to ferment. the alcohol hasn’t been removed, just left in the form of sugar. sometimes they’ll steep mulling spices in it, that is nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and cloves, for a hot drink that’s one of the most powerful, complex tastes I’ve ever experienced.
rotten fruit doesn’t really compare.
Beer for the most part just tastes like shit. There are a few good ones though
Well i would say some people drink it for the taste…but then i remember how beer tastes…sooo..yeah that can not be the case
Hope that’s sparkling cider
Can we just tag every image of this comic with cute Cewestia for “Weapons grade adorable” or is it no longer a tag?

Burgers originated from Germany. I’m not being paranoid, (overeacting maybe) but I guess I’m sick of seeing people here & on other places online bashing my country (like that meme pic showing American women fat, and European ones thin/hawt) when I respect their’s, which is why I said that. (I understand America isn’t perfect, no country is, but it just gets old sometimes.)
Even my British friends don’t seem to like many American things, and criticize ’em alot, so I was just genuinely curious if there was anything “American” the ones here have no qualms with. (Besides, MLP:FiM, but the show might be more-so Canadian then American.)
I like British things myself. (Tea, Rareware, double-decker buses, their comedies, ect.) So nothing against them.
Edited
I’m not Brit.
And besides, you’re comparing apple and oranges here, one is spelling and other is meaning, and again where I complained for things just being different, when saying it was weird then you are calling simple unfiltered juice cider, unlike not only the world but other Anglophones, more so then original definition of cider still stands valid.
Also, you’re being paranoid, I’m sure there’s plenty of American thing britbongs like. I doubt any would turn his nose from american apple pie or burger, for example, unless they’re hardcore nationalist dreaming of restoring empire with USA and sleeping with his Queen daki.
By that logic, then you guys should stop spelling “color” with an unnecessary “U,” and such.
Maybe you need to accept that not every culture is the same, and have different things from your’s.
@Sejen
Out of curiosity, is there anything “American” that British people actually like?
Also, I don’t recall Sunset having a midriff.
I’m pretty sure the term cider only refers to the basic method by which it is created (specifically, by crushing the base ingredient), not whether it is fermented in the process or not.
Whether “cider” is by default alcoholic or not simply depends on which was standard in the region of creation.

I don’t have problem with people disliking cider.
I do however have a little problem (pet peeve, et c) with people calling simple unfiltered apple juice a “cider”. Seriously from there it even come from? All of the world calls Cider an alcoholic brewage made from apples. You don’t call unfiltered grape juice wine, do you?
There, I said it.
The attitude of all Cider fans in the UK to the apple juice that the US claim is cider…
This is the level of hell they call “America”, where cider is non-alcoholic by default.
yes is luna
And some lucky dude is getting a winghug.
And the cider is alcohol free! *record needle scratch* Alcohol free cider? What is this nightmarish dimension!?
