Um… didn’t it work great for Trixie? I thought it wound up working pretty great for Trixie.
In No Second Prances, Trixie continued to be passive-aggressive as hell and may as well have carried a huge sign saying ‘I intend to corrupt your student’.

If you’re saying that the show creators did not intend any parallel or similarity between these two moments, then I agree, it’s very unlikely.
However, I found it visually interesting to compare and contrast the visuals of these moments between them, regardless.

And then Twilight remembers she and her friends getting screwed by Starlight in the season opener and throws her into the wall in a fit of rage.
Well ok that doesn’t happen but DAMN IT! Starlight works better as a villain instead of a hero!
