Well, given that griffons have the brains of eagles and the loins of lions, I’m guessing a lot of very angry sex and some insanely harsh yet just as insanely devoted couples and parents.
There is also the possibility of legal prostitution. Considering we had one griffon who wouldn’t even try and help Dash if she didn’t get paid, its possible that griffons will happily be paid to get knocked up.
I assume Dominatrix 101 is a popular class in school then.
Hate sex, lots and lots of hate sex. Either that or Griffon’s in general are into the whole slap slap kiss deal. “its not proper for a griffon to take a mate without breaking something.”
Unfortunately that’s probably the case, for now at least. Depending how well Gilda can sell her Friendship Scones, maybe things will turn around.
Honestly kinda makes me wonder how their species hasn’t died out. I mean, if you hate every other kind of your species, then how are you going to reproduce? Just begrudgingly bang one another for no other reason than for offspring? Nice…

I get the feeling that griffon parents teach their children to only worry about themselves and generally disregard other griffons interests or needs.
“Mom! That other griffon took my scone!”
“So beat ’em up and take your scone back!”
“Oww mom! She was stronger than I thought…. “
“Jeez honey, you need to spend more time lifting.”
I don’t believe they’ve even mentioned Gilda’s parents before, so I’m curious about griffon families and how that all works. Especially seeing how they’re all so grouchy to each other.
If we never see or hear from Gabby again, aka Babs Seed, might as well make it a collective fandom headcanon that she’s the little sister.
And for extra credit she’s constantly bugging her older sister about about her rainbow maned special somepony. :p
That would be an interesting twist. I wanna see that happen now.
