If you were designing a resort city in the clouds, and you knew of a few unicorns who could cast a spell allowing non-pegasi to walk on clouds, wouldn’t you go after one of them? [spoiler]Though it does undermine the idea that it’s rare to see a non-pegasus in a cloud city/structure.[spoiler]

I suspect they’ve developed some converse of the cloudwalking spell that allows these clouds to support non-pegasi ponies. Or everyone gets zapped with the cloudwalking spell upon arrival. Or ponies just like living dangerously. [spoiler]That last hypothesis would explain a lot, actually…[spoiler]

The official map has the ‘‘Applewood’’ sign  
Applewood is a separate city that fills the role of an LA expy. Las Pegasus… is a cloud city, it can presumably go wherever.

Kind of a mix of Bioshock 1 & 2’s buildings with Infinite’s floating city.

Look at all the unguarded edges. One too many ciders and then you step outside for some fresh air and whoops

Didn’t the map show a “LOS Pegasus” at a location similar to where Los Angles would be irl?

So many of these new BGPs have vibrant colours.  
It makes Fluttershy and AJ look too tame.

M.A has already confirmed years ago that the original joke was supposed to be Vegas. Then that map got made and that messed everything up and then this episode came out and got everything back on track.

It was supposed to be. The official map has the “Applewood” sign, plus it’s on the west coast, so… somebody messed up big time.

Still a ridiculous name for a place that’s ripping off Vegas.

Meh, I imagined it looking a bit better. Looks almost like a reskined Cloudsdale tbh.

I love that they skipped the exposition and dove straight into the setting. More time for story.
