The kids were non-sketchbook-canon, back when I first asked about possible kids. So theres a pretty good chance Twi is very long-lived at least.

Silfoe does do one-offs that aren’t canon to the story, so that might be the case there. But it’d be interesting to explore how it works if she is that long-lived.

You quoted the wrong person.
Immortality is not mentioned.
There is, however, one picture which has “a few hundred years later” in the description.
And Twi still looks as spry as ever. So yeah, long-lived at least.

It’s not that I think magic can’t give these two male children. My issue is that such a child may not really be theirs in the genetic sense, due to all the tampering needed to give them an Y chromosome.
Silfoe’s not mentioned it either way on her blog. And we only know Luna is immortal, not Twilight, so we really can’t say anything about their kids.
…well, dang. That’s better than “lunamom,” I guess.
Son is adopted and only X chromosome is enough to make girls (This just can’t be impossible in their world).

They’re both girls, though, so “Y chromosome how” doesn’t enter into it. Not that I think it’s a particularly sensible thing to worry about in a setting with magical wiard horses.

I have nothing planned. But that’s the nature of the Other Royal Sketchbook. I’m flying by the seat of my pants with this. So if the idea strikes me, it’s a possibility!
I really need to ask this.
Silfo, I know you had already many plot points from realisation to marriage and kids. I’m just interested, will you do new story arks, maybe a journey for their kids, maybe the return of an old villain (new one)?
Comrade, how about we start a glorious revolution and remake derpibooru into twilunabooru?
