Regardless Equestria feels like a religion-free nation… probably the reason why they are such a peaceful nation in the first place lol
 
They have traditions and they do celebrate spirits though there is no dogma involved, like Celestia doesn’t tell ponies that they’ll go to hell for having oranges just because she dislikes oranges, unlike some certain religion that banned pork lol

I really liked how Spike KNEW that this was going to turn out badly, but had to tag along with twilight.

It still cute that Starlight and Spike are best buddies.
