In my storyline Rarity and Spike’s relationship ends in tragedy and divorce
They both felt somehow forced to get together by the societ when they got older and that caused many issues.
Both are gay and don’t really love each other, and Spike’s blindness for Rarity’s charm broke apart.
Rarity goes to live with Maud in Manehattan and Spike with Thorax in the Crystal Empire.
They had two daughters before the divorce, Vanilla and Neith (not sure about the names), before having children with their new partners.
They’re still good friends

This is not a suggestion.
If you read the previous comments, you would see that people objected to this execution, and even the artist admits that it wasn’t very good. It has nothing to do with the ship, but the reason for the break up. However, while we were giving advice on how to make this work, or to be more careful using drama, you where being a dick and saying it’s bad without being helpful. That’s the difference. It has nothing to do with our views on things or use being robots, but willing to give constructive criticism, which you weren’t.

Well that’s the thing my friend. We’re all different. We’re not all robots that do the same things or march to the same step.
And I’m not one of those spineless people who just gives into the popular way of thinking or whatever. And I’m just one of those people who all the political correctness for what it really is. A bunch of crappy lies. But that’s really a whole other discussion.
My point is, that I’ve seen a fair amount of stuff, fanart in this case, that seemed to be just be made to appease people in the whole same sex movement. And again, I don’t hate anyone for what they choose to do with their lives. It’s when they try to make others think the way think, that’s when I start to have a problem.
And if you want me to give positive feedback, here’s some. And I’d say this.
To all people out there who make fanart or anything else.
Everyone has a choice and an opinion, but when they choose to give up that opinion or how you feel on a matter just to make some other people, who they may not even know, happy or feel better, they’re letting themselves be controlled. You basically give up your right of what and how you choose to feel or think on stuff. Whether any of us like it or not, that’s the case.
No, you where deleted for being a dick. It’s one thing to criticize, and another to just say something is bad and give no positive feedback on how they can improve.
And I don’t really have a hate or anything for people who are into the same sex stuff, at least not on a personal level. I don’t agree with their lifestyle choice, but I don’t hate them or wish they’d go die or something.
This just really seems to me to be one of those instants where someone is like “I don’t want to “offend” anyone, so I’ll give into what’s popular or whatever to make those people happy, even if I don’t agree with it myself”. And there’s a hilarious irony in that.
The moment you give up your own thoughts and opinions on something is the moment you are just conforming to whatever someone else thinks. I’ve heard of some people wanting to be different or something or other, but then everyone else is doing that as well, they’re not actually being different.

Wow, I think you’re being a bit harsh. It’s heavily flawed yes, but I think there are better uses for retarded than on an image that you don’t like. They’re not forcing a ship on you, and you could filter it, so please only use constructive criticism if you’re going to criticism something.
It’s more of the forced drama and weak way to avoid magical lesbian/gay spawn than either of them being jerks. Also, I suggest making an account. It make things easier.

Still, I don’t think that Spike will get any close to Lop’s Blueblood
He’s not a jerk and loves his children and loved Rarity too, at some point in their marriage~
I’m not saying that’s what this is base on, I’m just saying this reminds me a bit too much (and hit a cord that I don’t like) to that part of Lop’s work, who’s art looks great, but the stories fall flat.

Although I am a HUGE fan of Lop myself, this idea came outta nowhere, not based upon Moony’s story

I realize that there’s another thing that’s bothering me about that, and it’s Lopoddity’s Moondancer. He’s the child of Trixie and Blueblood, but Blue used him, and caused Trix to hook up with Maud. In other words, Blueblood being an abusive dick was just for drama and a child for Maud and Trixie, despite her using magical lesbian spawn later on.

Their relationship crashed down AFTER their second daughter (when she was 3 I guess) but they had issues before, light issues but they were there
Sometimes, they get to show infidelity when the issues grow bigger
I don’t know how to make this up in a better way

Yeah, it feel more like a reason for there to be drama instead of a good story, and as much as it pains me to say this, good art can only take you so far.

If this is your AU, okay, I could not like but Ok, but like headcanon… it’s full of holes.
I like the divorce’s idea, I must say it (it’s wonderfull and original), but the motivation (be gay) nope.
So you’re telling us that, since a child had a crush on a young woman, they were forced to be married to each other? Not only that, but the show has pointed out that ponies FEAR dragons, and wouldn’t want Rarity, a pony that has a large impact on the fashion industry and like is likely high in status, to marry someone that they fear, and push for her to hook up with someone of equal status.
Next is the question of their children. The first one I give a pass, even though sex isn’t something a married couple isn’t required to do and they could have said that one of them isn’t fertile, but if they’re unhappy, than why are making having sex with each other? They’re alternatives to that, most I would think they tried.
Finally, let’s ask WHY it took them too long to figure they’re, you know, gay! I would think that you figure that out when you’re looking at the butts of those that are the same sex of yours and are going “nice”. It feels like they’re that way for drama, and nothing else.
Maybe if most, if not all, of the couple-drama I’ve seen on this site are from straight couples while the gay ones are happy sunshine and magical lesbian/gay spawns, I wouldn’t be so venomous with my attempt to help point out the holes so you can work on them. Sorry if I’m harsh, but I feel that I need to be at times to get the point across or to point out the problem others don’t see.

but I was preeeetty tired too just make a proper dialogue or explain this properly.
Some things people didn’t understamd:
BOTH are unhappy in their marriage. For the first years it was really fine nice and calm. It wasn’t untill their second daughter was born that the cracks began to show and they realized they are, in fact, attracted to the SAME sex
The pony society, while friendly and docile, can be rude, snarky and cruel at times. Their case is an example, but it was more because of the RUMORS and EXPAECTATIONS they married. Not cruelty or harass
They aren’t ALL OF A SUDDEN GAY. It took them a while to figure that out, but their peace in marriage kept still because of their daughter. They started to have crushes on other ponies and prolly weren’t respecting their marriage. again, BOTH
Although it seems like SPIKE is the one who’s suffering the most, RARITY is too. Their dialogue (still making it up) is cruel for both sides
Their breakup is mutual, everything here is mutual.
