Someone asked how Rosalyn lost her leg, which inspired me to elaborate!
Rosalyn was working as a mechanic, fixing up a large cart when suddenly the cart shifted off its supports.
The massive weight of the cart crashed down on her, she tried to jump out of the way, but her leg was caught.
The doctors tried desperately to save her leg, with several surgeries and casts and fixators over several months, but the leg would not heal properly.
In the end, she asked the doctors to remove her leg so she could get back to helping people, as she felt useless just lying in a hospital bed.

there is still a tragedy of sorts, but it lies not in needless angsty demons or interpersonal violence.
