So… yeah. I did a thing. After watching ‘Friendship Games’ my brain just formed this THING in my head and I had to get it out. This could be one of the more complicated pieces I’ve ever done, and I’m actually really REALLY happy with it. This was done on and off over the course of a couple of weeks, and I tried out a LOT of new things, including trying to get better at expressions and perception. I like to think I did that.
 
ANYWAY. The title is just something silly, I suppose it could work given the situation, in a way. I put ‘Midnight Sparkle’ in place of Nightmare Moon, and set it up as a sort of AU where Sunset Shimmer never strayed from Celestia’s teachings and was instead the star pupil all along. Not to be taken seriously, obviously, but it was fun to see this play out while I worked on it.
 
So yeah, that’s all I have to say about that I guess. I need to go replace my back now x.x Enjoy!
