it really sucks when people disappoint you, and you can’t have it the way you want things to be. sometimes you have unreasonable expectations, but it still hurts when those hopes are dashed. all you can do is try to be more realistic about it in the future, try to understand how the other person feels and why they couldn’t be with you (so you can identify douchebags in disguise), and remember that there are people out there who won’t do you wrong, who need someone like you to love them.
