Background Pony #C90F
Twilight:I am innocent. I was betrayed by Zephyr Breeze, Fluttershy’s brother, and one of my bestest friends. He took my fiance from me, he took my Dashie. But it wasn’t just him who betrayed me, oh no. There were two others. The first one of the others, was Trixie Lulamoon. I thought, after we had patched things up, I thought that she had forgiven me for making her the laughingstock of the entirety of Ponyville. But I was wrong, oh so very wrong. She was jealous of me, and this time, it wasn’t just because of me being more powerful than her, it was more so because I was Princess Celestia’s prized student. She was the one that first instigated the plot that got me thrown into this cesspool of Tartarus’ dungeons. She wanted to get rid of me, so she could weasle her way into Celestia’s good graces, and steal my title as Celestia’s student. And as for Luna? Well, to tell you the honest truth, I still don’t know what her motivations for having me thrown in this hellhole prison, known as Tartaros, actually is. Luna was the one who actually tried me. Well, no, actually, that’s a lie. I was never really given a fair trial. All she really did was ask me why I was seen with a letter in my possession that was apparently addressed to Queen Chrysalis from King Sombra. She asked if she could see this letter, and I gave it to her, unknowing at the time that by giving her that damned letter, I was actually helping her seal my own, hellish fate. She took a few moments to read the letter, studying and examining it carefully. When she was done, she placed the letter down on her writing desk, closed her eyes, sighed, almost remorsefully so, and then looked back up at me, a stern expression on her face. She explained to me that the letter in my possession, which I did not read, was a letter to Chrysalis from Sombra, explaining, in great detail, how they were both going to conquer Equestria, with my help. Of course, I claimed that I was innocent. But Luna didn’t listen. She called in two pairs of Night Guards, and they escorted me into Tartarus, through a portal that Luna made. The guards escorted me down into the deepest, most hellish depths of Tartarus, where the prison Tartaros was. They locked me up in isolation in the deepest, most darkest and hellish dungeon cell I had ever seen, and then they left me here to suffer for eternity. Every single day I have been here has been a living, nightmarish hell. I’ve been tortured in every single way imaginable. I’ve been beaten, stabbed, starved nearly to death, and made to go days without water. I’ve been whipped, burned, cut, crushed, nearly drowned. You name it, I’ve been through it. But nothing, oh, nothing compares to the various ways that I have been psychologically tortured ever since I first arrived here, at least ten years ago. That’s right, I’ve been here for ten years. Ten Celestia-forsaken, goddamned years. But, you mark my words, somehow, someway, someday, I will get out of here. And when I do, I shall seek my revenge on everyone who wronged me.
