I would be curious to know what Meghan’s impact on the show currently is, since while she technically got a huge promotion from Hasbro, you would think a position like that also means she has to be involved in other shows much more as well.

I think what she is saying there is that the events are part of the official G4 storyline but don’t have an impact on the show. Like I mentioned earlier about the S5 season finale showing that Sunset and EG are irrelevant to FiM.

She never said that from anything I’ve seen but she did say EQG is completely separate from Season 4. Don’t know about the rest of it other than Megan being upset that Flash got a cameo in the first place since she didn’t authorize it.

When did she claim that? I think the Flash cameo was harmless. It wasn’t the same Flash from the movies, it was the guard introduced at the very end of the first movie that hasn’t appeared in anymore of the movies.

McCarthy stated EqG would never crossover with the main show, hence why people went berserk with Flash’s cameos even though it wasn’t worth the outrage.

I think this is pretty true. After four years with zero presence on the show I doubt they’re going to do it. I personally believe it was never going to happen, especially when you consider that the original plan was to have the first movie be a one time special.  
I think the last chance of a possibility came from the S5 finale, the fact that Sunset wasn’t present just tells to me that the characters and events from EqG are irrelevant to FiM. Aside from pony Flash cameo, which was only briefly shown at the end, and a minor callback to pbc I don’t see it any character coming over.

You are right, I should have worded that better. The point with Trixie is that the gag itself originates from the first movie.

Just Flash, and the outrage - if you want to call it that - was completely overblown for what it was. A Cameo.
 
Now, much more recently, there was also a slight throwaway gag in the S6 finale about Trixie and peanut butter crackers.

Because that subplot was dropped to open more possibilities for future installments and they though they couldn’t fit it with the main plot. Also, the original resolution to that was also that she decides to stay in the human world, so I don’t know what your point with that was, but nice of you to conveniently leave it out. Or perhaps you just don’t have any idea what you’re talking about, since you’ve made your hatred for the series very clear before.
 
Presenting it like it’s an already established fact in your own head is pretty pretentious, especially when minor EgQ exclusive characters have already crossed over. It happens if Hasbro wills it. That’s something what’s become very apparent in light of everything.
