Indeed, that’s what I plan to do. I think Ech Pi’El will always be better as an inspiration than an actual literal source for films, etc..
Anything that has Ron Perlman playing a shoggoth and Pinhead playing Nyarlathotep should be fantastic, but unfortunately the animation is very ‘meh’ and a lot of the voice work (especially the kid leads) stinks.
Also the tagline “things are about to get R’lyeh crazy” makes me wish the old ones would come and cleanse the Earth.

I mean, aside from Dagon and those two films by the HPL Historical Society, The Call of Cthulhu and The Whisperer in Darkness.

Ya, if one really gets interested in this idea, they need to check out the graphic novel this is adapted from, and it has sequels.
