I used to just leave the lines as is and use multiply to color it but now I use the stroke option (as much as possible) and other line/shape tools to do the “inks”.
Even for your original art? I assumed you used a tablet. It must take a long time doing it all with adjustable lines.
oh i know how hard that is. i sometimes have to freehand stuff on my edits/art because some of the select tools don’t cut it.
