Glad I could be of assistance there.
Oh that’s actually pretty cool, I didn’t understand how microwave ovens worked until now.
I’ve been caught spouting hooey before. Not intentionally, but because lots of people just don’t know well enough to catch me on it. It’s a shame how schools make incurious drones these days.
All a long I only understood the most tangible aspects of EM waves, and not even.
This could be useful.
Like a water facet melting ice. You can increase the temperature, or the pressure to do the same thing.
Oh well, shows what I know.
This is an energy table, not a frequency table.
But when I told you the ionizing radiation line was artificial this is what I was talking about.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionization_energies_of_the_elements_(data_page)
Yes, pertaining to the energy of the waves, but not the frequencies.
Energy comes and goes in all directions. Constructive interference is one easy example. With both constructive and destructive inference in mind you got little high energy dips and low energy dips all over the place, and given microwaves yield quite a bit of energy the cellphone will have quite the field of turbulence around it.
But like I said, 4g is much less dangerous than I thought it was.
“The radiation doesn’t even have to carry all of the energy itself to facilitate or throw off ionic exchange.” Then what is supposed to carry that energy?
I dunno man, you’re probably right, also at first I thought EM waves where accelerated electrons, but…
All atoms and molocules ionize at different energies.
The radiation doesn’t even have to carry all of the energy itself to facilitate or throw off ionic exchange. Radiation in the heat range does this very turbulently. Heat after all is the quantity of energy being transfered from one body to the next.
Still.. In light of everything 4g doesn’t seem so dangerous. Well damn, I just wanted an excuse to not answer the phone.
Well, I doubt I will convince you, so take care.
You notice even on your little chart that is mostly accurate (besides trying to imply there is a magic frequency line; just use wikipedia, I really hate burden of proof on what should be common knowledge) shows how close phone frequencies are to Microwave ovens, and microwave ovens make chimichangas explode.
Many are already observing the effects of talking into a flat microwave oven for extended periods of time, including tumors right behind the ear they use.
Down to the point research has indicated that microwaves don’t really do more than make you feel hot and uncomfortable, but looking at the cancer rates in florida compared to up north for example you will see that having hot waves penetrate your face for extended periods of time is not fun.
It can sometimes be hard to find people who stand behind the damage of high end microwaves, because that would make it had to sell phones, and Smartphones are almost disposable, and a huge part of our consumer economy.
@Ninji
No, it’s fairly well established by hard science. This is not a subjective arbitrary line drawn by human interests or whatever. Do you see the scale of difference between microwave radiation and ionizing radiation? It’s in the magnitude scale. Even molecules are way, way smaller than the wavelength of any micro wave.
Edited
There isn’t a magic frequency where the radiation becomes ionizing since different molocules and atoms ionize at varying energies. Even non-thermal frequencies induce ionization in some matter, and microwaves are high into the thermal spectrum.
Microwave radiation is way too large to cause ionization.
2g is more in the radio spectrum, 3g and 4g enter the microwave spectrum. I can feel the radiation heat my face, but it’s kinda hard to feel on less sensitive skin.
The more energized the airborn electron is the more bombastic, and unpredictable it behaves, and it can easily jam itself where it doesn’t belong and cause trouble in DNA duplication and repair sequences. Ionic disturbances interrupt sequential covalent bond, and produce free radicals.
As original and stable DNA material is limited entire cells eventually stop replicating properly, and this usually benign cancer is the biggest inhibiting factor in our natural lifespan. Mutations from high energy particals that 4g frequencies hinge on can be seen in the skin, and observed even deeper long before anything becomes deadly.
I NEED IT!
Yeah, I see that. That dial widget or whatever was just new to me.
What? Why is 4G less safe than 3G?
