When I tried to watch an episode in brazilian portuguese (my native tongue) I couldn’t last the opening.
Except by the animes of my childhood (that I have watched in brazilian portuguese) I watch things in their original language with subs.

A friend of mine who lives in Warsaw likes the local dubbing, despite being a fluent english speaker.
As being a big fan of Polish dub of MLP, this makes me sad.

Depends who you ask, really. IMO, it’s rather well made, but errors occasionally happen.
Are polish dubs usually high or low quality? And how is their quality in MLP in particular?
I know that since I became a good enough reader to read subtitles I just can’t listen to Hebrew (my language) dubs of Cartoons from abroad, (and since my english became good enough I don’t even have to bother with subtitles.) I once tried to listen to the Hebrew dub of MLP and couldn’t last a whole episode.

Historically, lots of people. They keep coming to visit and not leaving.
Replacing an VA for an well established character should be avoided at all costs since it can really lower the overall quality of the localized content.
I guess the studio who did the dubbing didn’t have quality as top priority for their works.
