I’m not saying I buy into the Apple Bloom thing, I’m just saying everyone’s jumping on it and I think it’s unfair for people to call me names over something that’s no more of a stretch than that is. (Possibly less so, given that “Where the Apple Lies” was Granny Smith telling a story from years ago consisting almost entirely of events which took place behind her back.
 
…And Flash having a life I guess is a point, but it’s hard to remember that sometimes since his purpose in the narrative thus far has almost entirely been to be attracted to Twilight (though Sunset giving him an intervention seems to have helped at least a little; fingers crossed he won’t have such a one-track mind if/when he shows up in the specials).

Anyway, there’s a difference between saying “You’re jumping to conclusions” vs saying “You are objectively wrong and also brain damaged.” I’ll grant the former (it’s admittedly a bit of a stretch, though not much more than the thing about Apple Bloom and the parents being absent from “Where the Apple Lies” meaning that Apple Bloom is Applejack’s daughter), but the latter is just being a dick.

Lame puns aside (and from me, that’s saying something), yeah, I kinda do. With Twilight gone, it’s like he doesn’t know what to do with himself. Maybe he could work on some songs, except his bandmates seem to have ditched him. And being around Sci-Twi can’t be easy for him, for obvious reasons, and their brief interaction seemed awkward as hell for both of them. Right now his friends seem to be Lyra, Bon Bon, and Derpy; I’m sure they can provide moral support, but they don’t seem like the best people to get advice from.
