Considering Hasbro said EG took a hit in sales last year, yes.
It was part of their statement earlier this year, that EG had exceeded expectations in sales and the new minis were offsetting the losses from the FG line.
No need to be paranoid.

Well of course Hasbro would say it is. Do you really think the company would come out and say EqG isn’t making as much money as they hoped but they are still gonna try to keep it going? That isn’t very business savvy, so of course they are gonna say it’s doing fine.

Alright, I’ll play ignorant to that. I was going my western releases, I wasn’t aware the UK had a different system. But then again, there are plenty of films nowadays that get full international releases, some movies are catered to international audiences, hell some movies have been shown in European countries before we would get them here despite being Hollywood films. I think the reason EqG didn’t get the same treatment for all regions, again, is that is wasn’t the money maker Hasbro projected so they had to adjust. I won’t say I know all the inner workings of movie making/release procedures, I am just a casual observer.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

In the UK only the third was released in theatres, the others were on Netflix* and DVD. Regions for film releases can vary wildly. In the end the films weren’t bad overall, just a little lacking what the show had to offer. I never watched the last three when they came out and honestly I wished I did.

Netflix being a company that blockbuster didn’t buy at the time because they thought they were little value, look were they turned out.

It was a limited theatrical release laddie.
It wasn’t a full blown release like the 2017 movie will be.
Again nothing wrong with Netflix maybe they release they might get a larger audience there.

Plus according to Hasbro the EG brand is doing pretty good financially

First movie was a full theatrical release, second movie was select theatrical release, third film was direct to DVD, and the newest one was Netflix only.

That to me is a sign that EqG isn’t the big money spinner Hasbro wanted it to be.

Was this blooper real or did Tara Strong rehearse this for the blooper reel?
