Did the guardpony in panel 2 suddenly become an alicorn? It looks like he has wings now (there’s a sort of solid white outline now over what in previous panels was more armour).
 
Let’s be charitable and say the standardized Guard armor has wing holes there now to accommodate Pegasus guards.
