That’s because Mrs. Cake is portrayed as the stereotypical chubby Baker.
 
Whether Celestia’s ass * is fat or is it just how bigger alicorns are proportioned is unknown.

I don’t think ponies can even put on weight in this show. Not permanently.
Pinkie and Twilight have actually been shown to suddenly make their fatness disappear at will. In mere seconds. I wish it could be so here…
 
Tell that to misses Cake and to Celestia’s glorious plot. And donut Joe.
