Description

Well, this is just silly.

I play too much of this, and watch too much of that.

Anywho, meet Vauld, a warhammer space marine trapped too damn long in the world of Equestria and, despite his natural bloodthirsty and loyal ways to the emperor, finds himself pulled in by the world of Equestria and the model that can fill the hole where his loyalty once lay.

Layout is an altered armor form. While the natural on-goings of Pony society may bother him at times (being far too silly and random for any sane man to handle) he takes his role as guardian and champion seriously. Also, other-realm tech embedded in his suit makes him a hell of a match for any creature.

‘…with the changeling horde swarming into the inner chamber, seeping through every crevice large enough to fit them.

“Go!” the weakened Celestia commanded, “Go back to your world, space marine! Before the horde swallows us both!”

Vauld didn’t move. He couldn’t. In the time he had spent ‘captive’ by the creatures, the marine knew that his attachments with his own world had slowly severed, torn themselves from the foundation he had been taught time and time again to rely on. A space marine was nothing without a cause to fight… but he had one now.

Before Celestias eyes, the marine charged for the portal to his realm, the work she’d slaved weeks to finish, but in no way intended to pass through. Instead, he latched the handle of the power hammer powering the immobile device, roaring as he tore it from the wires and electronic cords connecting it to the portal, the sole object capable of powering the device.

Smoke emanated from the marines gauntlet, but if he felt pain, he was an expert in hiding it.

Now, a few resounding steps later, between the princess of the land and a horde of tyranid-pony-like spawn, the marine clung the same hammer he’d shared countless campaigns with, gripping it with a renewed purpose as a cause to fight began echoeing in his young but experienced body.

Without stall, the horde charged their position, hell-bent on capturing the ruler of the land for whatever purposes their dark queen had planned. The marine would not have it.

With new purpose, a reason to fight and die for the creatures of the land, the marine roared as he heaved his warhammer high once more for a worthy, glorious cause.

“FOR THE GOD-EMPRESS!”’
