@Spacefrog
I hope you’re right about that. Could have just been a mistake in wording.
Just remembering a game where 5/6 were the element of laughter. Just, it was stupid. I’ll be happy if we can ignore the elements in this ruleset too.
Noone’s stopping your group from houseruling. ;)
A game of almost pure laughter could work if they where creative about it (literal agents of smile), but yeah, if not I can easily see it getting out of hand fast.
Oh no. The elements were always ignored in my Roleplaying Is Magic group as they just didn’t fit in. Trying to assign a personality to a character with an ingame trait thing like that is just super limiting.
There has never been a single element to fit any of my characters, at least not from a measily 6 to choose from. Only the first page and I’m already concerned.
It says you can choose an element for your character, you are not forced to do so.
@Minus
The way the rules read, from what we’ve seen, is that element is about as critical as alignment - important in the role-play, but less critical on the dice roles, at least compared to the importance of pony type.

Niiiice !
just leave the level on your pony sheet blank
…Sooo you can’t play a blank flank ?
This is bullshit.

Ponies pick an element, that sounds interesting.
