Telling story through art rather than walls of text is a solid choice, imo. Show don’t tell, as the saying goes.
 
A lot of artist suffer from the drama curse, it seems. I’m glad to see you don’t have to deal with it that much.

Yeah I don’t know why eople don’t like oc’s either
 
My oc’s on their own seem to fair well mostly on the Facebook and secondly few communities
 
Mostly because the ridiculously long story I made for them isn’t public
 
I want their story to be told more through art then writing
 
I always kinda figured that my artwasn’t all that popular on the DA and FA communities for bronies and here because I never quite understood how you get my work featured on something like equestria daily and im just kinda hidden
 
 
But it could l so just be that my art style it’s a tad to stylized
 
I’m more of a pokemon artist then pony though you can’t tell anymore with the crazy amount of pony art I have done since like 2011
 
I got a tad swept away I guess
 
 
But I’m thankful to have any audience at any all
 
And being under the radar does have its perks I guess
 
I hang out around art websites mostly done drama free
 
 
Which Is a rarity these days

There’s no need to be sorry about putting your very reasonable feelings out there.
 
I can tell you that your art definitely has a unique style to it, and it simply might not appeal to some. It’s alos not the most technically proficient, but it still doesn’t look like anything approaching bad. Drawing a lot of oc’s might push your upvotes down too, since a lot of people filter those out.
 
Not that I think you should change any of these things. I like your style, and I really don’t get the disdain a lot of people have for oc’s. As long as it’s a well-designed character, I’m behind it.
 
Just keep doing what you’re doing. A fair few people like you, and I’m definitely amongst them. And as with anything art-related, practice will only make your art better and more well-loved.

Yeah it’s odd that they haven’t done anything with Minty
 
They just released her as a build a bear pony I got her the day she came out
 
She has no outfit though
 
 
And yeah I wouldn’t mind some attention for my art every now and then
 
 
Especially when I spend way to much time on it like this one
 
It’s a tad disheartening when I spend alot of time and effort on and piece and its only gets like 14 up votes and no feedback
 
 
And im starting to wonder if it me that’s the issue and my style
 
I mean I am mostly blind im I might be missing something in my own work and I can’t place it
 
 
Or maybe my art is too different and emotional rather then show accurate
 
 
I’m not really sure
 
But I keep drawing anyways mostly for me because it is all emotional
 
So I guess nothing really matters I guess I just want attention

Yeah, it doesn’t look like she’s going to get into G4 at this point. Maybe she might appear as a secondary or background character in a future episode, if you’re lucky. Something about helping out with Hearth’s Warming would fit her, I’d think. I can’t say I’m a big fan of G3, but from what I’ve seen of her, Minty seems like a fun character. Cute and silly, just as all the best ponies tend to be.
 
It’s a shame people don’t comment so often on your work. I bet you have something in common with a lot of artists who hang out here in that you’re all just waiting for somebody to show you what they think.
