Quill Inkwell is my husbands Ponysona/OC :iconakimaru101: mostly hes just like him but with a few little changes and things that make him an OC as well as such this means that some of his backstory can get sorta edgy because it mirrors his own life and a LOT of it wasn’t pretty at times so please bear that in mind

Bullet; Red Talent: Sci Fi/Fantasy novel writer (he writes well for all genres but is particularly best at Sci Fi Fantasy, he really enjoys writing about Dragons and other things and loves adding interesting twists on ideas or genres to his novels)  
Bullet; Orange Likes: Spectrum <3, his Spaniel Ash, Art (Spectrums art best usually), reading (manga and novels), some sports like running and kayaking, nerd stuff (like D&D and Pathfinder role play dice games, and Star Trek, LotR, Doctor Who, ESPECIALLY Star Wars, comic books, Superheros stuff like that ect.), candy (he is an ultimate candy fiend especially for sour candy), Legos, music (all kinds but mostly adores movie scores) and video games (PC master race)

Bio: Born in Trottingham in Britain, to two loving parents. They wanted more children but due to complications with his birth his mother couldn’t have any more children so he is an only child. He grew up a fairly happy child but with somewhat of a strict upbringing. Due to his fathers military job, him and his family moved around Equestria quite a lot, until they finally settled in Britain. He now lives there with his Wife Spectrum, but half of the time lives in Rainbow Falls for her so she can be close to her family.
 
As a kid Quill grew up somewhat happy, occasionally it was hard because of his fathers strictness in his upbringing and moving around a lot. But he made due and was fairly happy. When he because a teen his parents sent him to boarding school which he HATED. And was bullied a lot but wouldn’t stand for shit. So his teenage years were less than happy. And because of the bullying and cruelty (and some shy awkwardness on his part) he didn’t date a lot. Girls always saw him as the “friend”. And the mares he did date for any amount of time were cruel to him. Some cheating and lying. Our just being plain vicious and cruel by telling him he was worthless or other horrid things. He had an unremarkable love life until he met Spectrum. They were best friends from the start, everything with them just seemed to fit they are true soul mates  
And despite the bullying and cruel awful woman in his life he is a strong and optimistic person.
 
Personality wise Quill is a strong optimistic pony. But still has his faults. He is strong happy and optimistic most of the time, but sometimes his insecurities get to him and he can become a pessimistic and doubting person very fast. A lot of the time he doesn’t see what a good pony he is and often puts himself down. But with Spectrums help is getting better at not doing that. Quill is a very calm stoic pony, sometimes, especially to strangers, comes across as very cold and sometimes meant to those who don’t know him. But once he opens up he’s a very fun loving nice stallion :) Though he almost NEVER gets close to anypony. Spectrum is the only pony he has ever really truly opened up to being somewhat sheltered and afraid of getting hurt. Because of being sheltered somewhat from most pony contact and having few friends he’s not good at showing emotion outside of his writing. A lot of the time he has a hard time explaining why he is sad, worried, angry, scared, or upset to Spectrum and has a very hard time articulating it to her (good thing she knows him like a book though cause she can usually guess and help best she can X3). He can tend to bottle up his issues sometimes and will keep them hidden from Spectrum until he blows up or she bugs him enough to tell her what’s really wrong, he has a hard time sharing his burdens with her even though she’s always there for him. Though he can be very serious at times he likes to have a laugh and can sometimes get really raunchy or bad with his humor like Changeling Attack jokes XD (the equivalent of 9/11 jokes) which can be somewhat offensive. Sometimes he can ignore Spectrum if he is playing a game or when writing intensely, which sometimes upsets her. And when he first got his Spaniel Ash he also trouble ignoring her a lot to take care of him (that made Spectrum very jealous for a time. But has grown to love their goofy dumb dog and they’re now a happy family). But when he gets writers block he gets down right lazy and either cannot or will not do anything for a long period of time. He can get very moody very quickly when anything ruins a good day, and when he gets moody he can even get very mean sometimes. He also has some anger issues blowing up occasionally if angered enough. He also has mild flying rage when stuck behind slow flyers XD
 
He is also adorably awkward about romance and PDA and relationships because his relationship with Spectrum is his first successful and worthwhile relationship.
 
Quill is an advocate of organized chaos where Spectrum is OCD as hell so she is constantly organizing his things and moving things which aggravates the shit out of him.
 
Quill is also very smart, and though he claims he is not as smart as Spectrum, he is the only person that she can properly debate with that can keep up and sometimes outsmart her dizzying intellect. He especially loves sciences and history.
 
Though Quill enjoyed some sports, he was never a really jocky kind of colt. And though is fairly strong still maintains a lanky like figure. He has a healthy nerd to jock physique and personality.
 
Quill’s super special talent is writing. He can write many things very well, but enjoys sci fi fantasy writing best. He got his cutie mark at a normalish age like most colts, maybe a bit later, when he finally decided this was his destiny. He always loved reading and especially Sci Fi fantasy but it took him some time to realize it was his super special talent. Until he read the Spook’s novels and fell in love with them and became so inspired by them he wanted to write. And thus gained his cutie mark. Though for a short time as a kid he lived in Cloudsdale with his family when they were moving around a lot, he never met Rainbow Dash. He had only ever seen her from a far and envied her for how cool she was, too shy to ever actually go talk to her. And the only other pony out of the mane 6 he can say he met would be Rarity. But only briefly and only because Spectrum drags him there to go shopping for her and occasionally goes there to buy some saucier designs from the back of Rarity’s boutique for Spectrum ;D (They barely know each other because these transactions are so rare)
 
Some small unimportant details before we go ^^ his favorite color is red. He is a big dog person, but loves his Spaniel best. He is a hard worker and grew up mostly on his Grandads farm. He’s quiet sporty for being a writer enjoys running and kayaking and playing with his Spaniel. He’s not usually very outgoing, though he likes doing things he’s not one to jump up and be spontaneous. Spectrum usually is the one to make him get up and live life to the fullest ^w He prefers PC over all other forms of gaming. He also shares many of the same interests as Spectrum they’re both big nerds together and share far too many inside jokes together XD He’s also Sagittarius. ^^
