From what I can tell, the word order is acutally spot on.
I think I may have got subject and modifier turned around there, though.
If I’m not mistaken, chiisaii is an i-adjective, not a na-adjective. I believe it should be: watashi no chiisai kouma or 私の小さい子馬

Also, does the Japanese title translate to My Little Pony, by any chance?
I knew this girl who choose the same career (and she was a mere school librarian, to boot) and she had the freakiest mind. People would go to her with the sort of questions people would usually go to a librarian with - “hey, do you know that book that had sort of a red cover, and it turned out they were twins?” - and without fault she’d identify the book immediately, even if it was something that the library didn’t have and it was published some 30 years ago. So not only did she have a frightening memory that could recall the catalouge numbers for each item, she apparently have read all those books, as well. Now that’s dedication!
