I started with drawings on white paper of the first 6 ponies from 1982: Butterscotch, Minty, Cotton Candy, Snuzzle, Blue Belle and Blossom. All the original drawings were made with different pens: Sakura, GellyRoll, Pentel Hybrid Gel grip, Pentel Sunburst metallic, Pentel Slicci and Uniball Signo white gel pen and color pencils for shadows. All the shapes you see were made as cut outs, that means I cut all the shapes inside the squares with an Xacto knife (and it cost me a week with a wrist support brace =\ ). The originals don’t have color backing, but I scanned them like this to allow the shapes to come through and be able to offer them as prints and stickers All this stickers measure 3.5 in high and this pack has 6 different stickers (the ones you see in the pic). They were printed at home on vinyl sticker paper (from Inkpress) and will be sprayed with Krylon Crystal Clear for added protection.I can also make you a portrait of your pony persona in this style, let me know if you’d like one ^^.
