And now all I can think of is how I’d like to see an epic rap battle of history between her and whomever it was that dreamed up either the GI Joe or Transformer toy-lines.
I used too, as well, but nowadays that’s reversed a bit. They actually have G4 hate clubs on DA, and such run by G1 fans.
But don’t let either side of craziness get to you. Best to not regard the mean fans of either preference.

I wouldn’t mind more older characters come back. I loved having Tirek back, and such. I love old continuity callbacks, and I’m a sucker for those. TMNT & the Sonic comics have been doing that to lately.
Fair enough. :) I do wanna see Megan become canon at some point; she could be the Whistler to Sunset’s Blade.
In this case I’m just here as a user. I love Bonnie Zacherle and came here as soon as I saw the image on the front page.
She’s one of my heroes :)
In fact, for all the latest whoopla over the featured images, if there was such a thing as some sort of secret “we feature images because of personal biases” where individual mods decide what is featured and when, you’d see this image featured tomorrow.

And I love the toys, but I’ve just seen so many negative people over the years, it makes me wary is all.
Glad to, but it is worth noting that you mods are shockingly quick in the comments section when stuff gets haywire. Ponibooru looks up at you from hell and weeps in envy. XD

Truthfully I see more negative modern fans who hate on older stuff, show and toy alike. :/
Yes, that’s certainly true, but happily none of them are here. And if they show up, then … please report them.
I’ve never been to a convention, but I imagine people are better behaved at those then they are online.
Also, don’t get me wrong, many G1 fans are cool, (I’m kinda one myself, I used to watch the old show/s with my sister when we were little. NOTHING CAN STOP THE SMOOZE!) some love G4 as much as they do the old show.
Problem is, there’s some hipsters who hate the new show, because it’s popular, or because they hate bronies/G4 fans bashing older generations of MLP, so they decide to act the same out of spite.
I’m sorry you’ve had that experience.
For myself, at least at the conventions I’ve been to, the G1/G4 fanbases seem to get along really well. The G1/3 panels always seem to be just as well attended as the G4, and the G1/3 booths in the vendor rooms seem to get just as large a crowd around them as the G4’s.
Although there’s periodically a dispute between two people with ponies with the same name but from different generations …

I tend to see G1 MLP-fans that act no better then the “bad G4 fans/Bronies” they rant about constantly.
