The only thing I’m unsure of is, why did Rarity need to magically remove Fluttershy’s sandals in the first place? I’m sure she could’ve just as easily tickled Fluttershy’s helplessly sensitive feet all over without removing them and getting Fluttershy all worried with the build-up. Skip the nervousness and go straight to adorable giggles instead! ;D

I like their faces on this one. Fluttershy looks worried while Raritys face shows she is gonn have some fun or that she is tickling her out of personl revenge for something and was gonna let her feet have it!

Interesting headcanon you have there, JP, and I can kind of see where you’re going with it too, maybe even agree with you about it. However, I would suggest perhaps two small possible caveats to your theory:
 
  1. Perhaps their own feathers don’t tickle them when they’re still attached, but after being plucked can be put to tickly use. Just as normally, a person cannot tickle themselves, however a certain amount of physiological dissociation can allow a person to tickle themselves (such as a time delay between the action and the sensation, or some forms of mental illness causing a mental/physical disconnect)  
  2. Perhaps Fluttershy is just that ticklish, that she is sensitive to tickling even by her own feathers? ;)

I have a weird headcanon that pegasi are immune to being tickled with their own feathers. It has to be someone else’s feather. But I won’t let that headcanon stop me from liking this image.
