You do know that fantasy also has logic, it just applies to magic and fantastical creatures, and if you pay attention, there is logic in the MLP world.
 
Anyway, I don’t mind the ship itself (I like Magna’s stuff, even if some of it is Celestia/Twilight), it’s that it just popped into existence without build up. Would you be OK if Fluttershy (or any character that you like) was suddenly hooked up with a character that she had very little interaction with and who barely appeared in the show?

Agreed. You are taking this too seriously Lucario. Everything in this picture is impossible… And that’s OK. That’s what fantasies are. There’s no logic to MLP, and neither should there be for this kind of shipping. It’s cute (To me at least) and that’s what matters.

Sorry if I’m being a dick, but I might have missed the stuff where we learn that he is more than just her pet, other than some shipping art with her and the Spirited Away dragon that’s over a year old. I’m not trying to be an ass, but we’re not given any reason to think otherwise before now. It’s like learning that Spike and Winona had puppies, and learning afterwords that she was sentient (not the best example, but I hope you get an idea of what I’m trying to say).
 
Also, when ever I see someone say “forbidden love” I usually ignore it since I figure that it’s usually just them referring to gay lovers to make it seem more impressive than it is.

If we’re going to introduce romance into pastel-colored horses, we’ll need to apply logic and ethics. I may be taking this too seriously, but romance (and love in general) should be done correctly and maturity.
