I see where they’re coming from, but “motherly to Twilight” is like the one bone they’ve thrown Celestia on the show so I can’t give it up D:

I’ve always thought it was so sweet how Applejack is with Apple Bloom.
Hmm, good point. Shy’s the gentlest and nurturing towards her animals, but with Twilight and A.J. actually being “mothers” in some capacity, they’d probably have the edge.
