Twilight, in a fit of Twilight-ness, over-prepped for each of the major question the kids could ask. At least one binder per subject was made. She just somehow forgot to tailor it for a 4 year old wondering why he’s about get a baby sister.

Lucky for Twi, Luna stepped in and gave him the simple “When two ponies love each other very much…” speech.

She took after Mama Luna, and gobbled a little one up to turn them into your sister Pterus. (I feel hot breath on my back and see Twilight and Luna.) Uh oh, I’m busted.

Well, Pipsqueak was yelling something about being gobbled up during the Nightmare Night party… but he’s too old!

Twilight never did grasp the whole “lies to children” part of education.

Contrary to popular belief, children usually manage just fine without it. If I could pick between having to wrap my mind around how the world really works and having to review all my knowledge about the world every couple of months because my parents may or may not have decided that I’ve passed the perfectly arbitrary point where I can be told the truth about one aspect of reality instead of a “because magic” placeholder, I’d take the former since as far back as I can remember.
