Cool segment of a Thai advert for chewing gum, but alas the birds are computer generated. Which is a real shame because everyone really wants an example of cleaning symbiosis that goes all the way back to Herodotus to be true and easily observable and regular and filmable by (2016-defeating!) national heros with amazing-sounding voiceovers.
 
IMO, maybe it really does happen with those two species, but very rarely. And then probably not the croc’s mouth. Unproven but semi-plausible: crocs gape to cool down, and these plovers are cheerful little insectivores that live alongside them. And we know it happens with other species.

I mean, yeah, everypony has a weakness. Applejack’s strength equates to less agility, as it does in games. Rainbow’s strong and fast, which usually sacrifices defence and stamina. Pinkie suffers from “Ganonism”, a term I just now made up meaning one with absolute power, but easily distracted by shiny objects. Because of inconsistencies in her character, Flutter at times feels more like a Jester or Gambler than a Tamer or Bard, lol. Rare’s problem, going back to the game colloquialisms, is low debuff resistance, in that a negative change to her looks puts her off-guard. Twilight has proven time and again she cannot do jack without “The Magic of Friendship”, but she still insists on going alone sometimes, which can still be funny, mind. X3

By that argument, literally every character who is good at anything is a Mary Sue.

Fluttershy: When it comes to animals, she’s a Mary Sue.
 
And we love this Mary Sue.

It’s being able to do stuff like this that makes me think Fluttershy’s never as poor as some people make her out to be.
