I wish Optimus Prime can beat Megatron in one shot. I like beast hunters bumblebee better than regular Bumblebee. Hope the Autobots win the fight!

Maybe they have him doing something, like looking for the omega lock, or he was still on Earth in case of Con attack, he is more adapt at combat then Ratchet, there is no telling really.

They didn’t have a plot device to hand to him. And I guess that Ratchet really holds a grunge.
 
Actually, I’m wondering if he was even still on planet. The guy is the only autobot with his own star ship. He might have actually started going back to Cybertron before hand.
