i never said celestia was a pushover, just that she would rather not fight if she can avoid it, but if forced into it i do see her fighting hoof and horn for her little ponies….hopefully more effectivly then she was against chrysalis that one time…
my head cannon for that goes along with the ‘world of matchsticks’ fic, she threw the fight cause if she had put any more power into it she might have hurt innocent bistanders by acident
My headcanon differs and from what I’ve seen from the community over the years so do many others ;)

in most cases shes the peacefull sister, heck in one of my favorite stories ‘the rites of ascension’ she is indeed the single most powerfull being in existance, but shes terified of her own power, cause she basicly only has two setings, ‘low’ and ‘nuke it from orbit’

Well, you know. Some targets are resistant to Grass-type attacks, but Fire-types work great. Like Steel! Resists Grass, Fire is supereffective.
Napalm is jellied gasoline, so like that.
