Reiduran started it off with a random doodle on his tumblr. It might have been from a live stream? I can’t honestly recall at the moment. Either way, the combo of a tired Sunset and upbeat Pinkie was funny and other artist started to roll with it. After the tag got a few images on it, one of them blew up with comments that pulled in a few of the mods and derpibooru notoriety was had.
So far as I know, there’s only one fanfiction story about it, but we keep getting new doodles every now and again.
Where did this whole thing come from, anyway?
